Australia to get world first release of The Hunger Games DVD and Blu-ray
Roadshow Entertainment has announced that Australia will be the first place in the world to release The Hunger Games on DVD and Blu-ray.
The release will happen there on Friday August 17, 2012. According to Stack Magazine, the DVD will be released in a 2-disc edition, containing hours of additional features and never-before-seen footage, while the Blu-ray edition will be a 3-disc ‘Double Play’, and include content additional to the DVD as well as a Digital Copy to enable fans to view the movie on portable devices.
For those in the US, you only have to wait one extra day with the DVD/Blu-ray due out on August 18. Don’t forget to pre-order your copy now!

i am from england and i’m soooo annoyed that u can’t do much when in the UK! i really want 2 go 2 the catching fire premire or win tickets 2 go but it is ALWAYS for amerocan residents! i’m an american citizen so i don’t no if that counts… anyway i thinl its not fair thst the UK don’t have much 2 do with The Hunger Games!!?!!?!!?!!?!!!!!!!¿
