Buy The Hunger Games Tribute Tower Chairs
Remember those green chairs from the dining room scenes in The Hunger Games? Well they are called seatbelt chairs and were created by Thai designer Nuttapong Charoenkitivarakorn, who created the chair in 2005 out of scrap seatbelt strapping.
The chair is also nicknamed “the sexy chair” because it resembles a corset from the front and a high heel from the back.
The High Point, N.C.-based Phillips Collection manufactures the Seatbelt line including stools, rockers and ottomans, in Thailand. There’s even a “Texas” dining chair that’s taller and wider, says Mandy Hayden, lead designer for the Phillips Collection. In addition to a variety of vivid colors, the company offers the furniture in brown or white leather.
In the Kansas City area the Seatbelt pieces are available in pink, white, and green (like the film) at the Shop at Studio Dan Meiners,

Seriously does no one get that by buying these chairs we are basically the Capitol. Hunger Games fans are turning superficial. I’m not saying we can’t have our fun by buying t-shirts and bed spreads and stuff. But this is going too far. But now we are celebrating the Capitol the place that kills innocent kids.
