Could a ‘Bridesmaids’ Star Join ‘Catching Fire’?
Ben Falcone, also known as Air Marshall John in ‘Bridesmaids‘ and Elizabeth Banks‘ husband Gary in ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting‘ is a major fan of ‘The Hunger Games‘! The actor has apparently been openly petitioning to be part of the next installment!
Yup, Melissa McCarthy‘s real-life funnyman hubby Ben Falcone says he’s all about the Suzanne Collins franchise.
And he has a really good connection—he plays Hunger star Elizabeth Banks‘ husband in What to Expect When You’re Expecting (out May 18).
“I knew she had done this movie and then someone showed me a picture of her and it was so cool!” Falcone remembers. “I was like, I wanna be one of those.
“So I’ve been openly campaigning to be in it,” he continued. “I want to be one of those Capitol dwellers. I want my hair to be 8 feet tall and have purple skin.”
May the odds be in your favor, Mr. Falcone.
I think he is a hilarious man, and him in purple skin is something I wouldn’t mind seeing!
Do you think he would fit one of the characters? Tell us in the comments below!

Maybe Plutarch. Or maybe Beetee ‘Volts’? No, most certainly not Finnick.
I could picture him as Plutarch but i always think of someone Chinese to be Beetee
I think he would play a good Plutarch.
He would be a very good Plutarch.
He fits Finnick perfectly! I mean come on! You guys can’t see it? JUST KIDDING, before I start a riot coming my way!
Seriously though if he wants to be Plutarch and they cast him in the part I’ll be up for it! He certainly wouldn’t be that bad of a Plutarch.
Perhaps he could be Beetee, just picture him in the part with glasses and everything. If he could play that part I wouldn’t mind him being Beetee either!
He could play the perfect Plutarch!
Well then, he would be Beetee if he had Glasses and maybe had his beard trimmed for the role. Most of all, don’t count your chickens before they hatch.
Just put a fat suit on Morgan Freeman and he’d be a good Plutarch! He would make a nice Brutus though!!
