Panem Map created by Gerri:

I researched through the books and collected information about each district, then created symbols of each of their industries and illustrated where each district would be located and what they produce based on research of current industrial production. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the map. I wanted to conceptualize the dark themes present in the Hunger Games, while still being informative and factually correct.

I think that the hunger games book were the best that ever came out. I just adore rue and i couldn’t help but cry when she died in the movie. And since i watched the movie first I already knew wht was gonna happen in the book, well who was gonna die anyway, but i still wond up crying at that part. It is just so descriptive when it describes there deaths and i am not one to like that stuff but i found that the hunger games was by far the best book ever. Same with the following book catching fire and Mocking Jay. I just love the way that cinna designs the dresses for katniss and i would love to wear them myself. I just can’t wait for the other movies to come out and the first one ot come out on DVD.
In the first book when Peeta announced that he was madly in love with Katniss I couldn’t help but laugh. Epessaly when they say that when Katniss can make the birds stop when she starts singing. Team Peeta all the way

Yeah, I really love Rue too. She’s just so inspirational, and she seems very symbolic to the book series, and is like the initial spark of rebellion inside of Katniss.
The last picture of Rue and Katniss really reminded me of how small Rue was, how much more of a child she was than most of the others in the arena, even though they’re all just helpless children who had to grow up too fast.
