I always imagined Beetee being that guy who played Atticus in To Kill A Mockingbird, or the one who played Mr.Burns in The Mummy. But from these I think it should be the guy from Lost.

OMG Michael Emerson would be amazing! I didn’t have a actor in mind for Beetee but when I saw Michael it literally gave me goosebumbs, he’s such an amazing actor and he would just be perfect! I so hope he gets the part!

David Tennant… he’s kind of young, but I imagined Beetee as this cute nerdy older guy, and he fits my description. And I mean, can’t you see him running around in Mockingjay with Gale creating bombs? Just my opinion. Gary Ross will pick the perfect actor anyway.

John Billingsley is The One who would exactly fit in my opinion for Beetee.
When i read Catching Fire, i thought to myself, Michael Emerson would be PERFECT for Beetee! he would make Beetee’s character soooo enjoyable in the movie as he was in Catching Fire and Mockingjay!

Oh wow, Michael Emerson! Exactly how I pictured Beetee.
Seems like people don’t realize that casting takes away from FX budget. The arena should be the second biggest actor, after katniss. Hank Azaria has the complexion and range to do justice to a dying inventor. Emerson has a new tv deal and will be hard to free up.
Considering the profit made on the last movie, I don’t think budget will be much of an issue.
Trust me, if the studio won’t rehire a director because of salary disputes its clear what their motivs are. Less cost equals more net. Look how awkward HP was until they settled on direction, that franchise made more than any and employed true powerhouse actors, yet they still took a saw to the books to save on cgi costs. Just saying, the jungle needs to be like lost on steroids. Finicky needs to be a Greek god. The less and more wisely spent on Beetee, the better for us all.

God we need David if anyone could do it its him! If anyone has seen his work like I have you know he can do nerdy side, he can also do a dramatic side. Damn when he gets dramatic I feel bad for the people that get on his bad side. And he’s a total A-list. Please people check out his work and you’ll know what I mean. He was rank 20 on Top 100 men in 2006. And The Pink Paper voted Tennant the “Sexiest Man in the Universe” over David Beckham and Brad Pitt. So come on he has to get it. And yes his accent is Scottish, but he can do a British and an American. He’s amazing!

MICHEAL EMERSON! I never really pictured anyone for beetee or Wiress but he Is brilliant! I really would like to see some good actors playing Finnick and Beetee as they where my favourite characters, But casting big names will just ruin it.
Side note: they undress Beetee on the beach and Kat is “unimpressed”. Seems like Collins was going for an Asian impression, athankyou.

Some of the suggestions are silly. 30-year old guys like Dominic Cooper?! Seriously? David Tennant, a hot and youthful-looking 40-year old?! Beetee is supposed to be an older guy, at least in his 50s. He’s not supposed to be a hunk. I pictured either John Billingsley or Michael Emerson.
Oh God yes. David Tennant my first choice, he is amazing, hes such a versatile actor, I mean he does comedy, he can do the funny, quirky, nerdy side of Beetee, yet he can also be a serious dramatic actor. The man is a beast.
Ive never seen any of Michael Emerson’s acting work before, but holy crap he looks perfect for the part, like I can tell looking at him hed be great for the part.
John Malkovich is a great actor, he really knows his stuff, Ive seen a couple movies with him and I think hed really be able to handle the part. Plus my acting teacher taught him in college, (even rejected him for parts.) and hes told our class some pretty interesting stories about him and what he was like in college, and I think based on those he would be able to make a lot of really good interesting choices and it would be interesting to see his approach to the role.
