Fan of the Week: Jennifer Lee

My name is Jennie Lee. I am 15 years old, and I live in the United States. I love to write and read, and the Hunger Games is my all time favorite book.

What is it about The Hunger Games you love so much?

I love the suspense and the action!!! No matter how many times I read the book, it seems that every time the climaxes in the book excited me so much. The books just never cease to give entertainment.

Who is your favorite character in The Hunger Games?

My favorite character would definitely have to be Haymitch.  Even though he is a drunken idiot at times, he helps the tributes that come the best he can.  He also cares about Katniss and Peeta enough to get them through the Hunger Games.

What are your expectations for The Hunger Games movie?

My expectations for this movie are very high, and from what I’ve seen I do not think that anyone is going to be disappointed with this movie.  I have read the Hunger Games quite a few times, and I hope that this movie will stay as close to the book as possible.

What’s your favorite quote?

My favorite quote in the whole book is when Katniss and Peeta are in the cave and she hands him a packet of dried fruit.  She finally gets fed up with Peeta and says “Shut up, and eat you pears.”  I crack up every time I think of that line. (Praying it will still be in the movie)

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

I would just like to add that I canNOT wait for the Hunger Games to be released.  I am absolutely obsessed!!!! Suzanne Collins has wrote one of the best sci-fi, adventure, romance novels that I have ever read.  Thanks for choosing me!!!
