It’s been quite sometime since I’ve done a Fan Question so I thought I’d give one a go. To me book quotes are kind of a big deal. I have a few book quotes tattooed on myself and some are words to live by, others can change you life completely. So here is your fan question:

For sure. I heard that the district 8 escapees (can’t think of their names) that Katniss meets in the woods aren’t in the movie so I’m not sure how they will fit that line in the movie(s) but it makes me cry everytime I read the books.
i loooooooooooove this part along with when she says ‘i think of a meadow like the one in the song i sang to Rue when she died. where Peta’s child could be safe!!!!!!!!!

Love that. I started crying when I read that. Partly from me actualy finishing the book, partly from it’s very good “quoatable” status, and partly from the….the shear amazingness, truth, sadness, and….something else that I can’t even describe, of it.
But, yeah, it’s in Mockingjay.
Quote from the book I love and also want to hear in the movie:

~ I love this part because I felt like this is when Katniss finally admits to herself how much she truly loves Peeta
And, because I’m silly, I also want to hear this line in the movie:

Pretty much, I would like dialogue to be directly from the book♥

Haymitch – “You could live a hundred lifetimes and not deserve him, you know.” (of course, I want to see the whole Katniss/Haymitch scene of them getting drunk, but that line in particular)
And Johanna slapping Katniss – “Lay off him?” and then going on her rant until Finnick picks her up and repeatedly dunks her in the water. Another hilarious moment!
And of course, the teasing hug Peeta gives Katniss in the “goat scene” where he realizes she’s hurt AND the hug on the train before they watch Haymitch’s Games on tape. Too cute! <3

I want to whole scene with the 2 peacekeepers in Katniss house after Katniss escaped from the forest, it was so funny!! And I want it in there exactly how it was written in the book, down to the letter.

And the part where Katniss saw Prim in an outfit and BAM!.. Rue flashback!!

I just love this quote, so much. It shows Cinna’s ‘rebellious’ side in my opinion, how he can make a change with his small actions that actually make huge impacts. It shows how he can be brave, and willing to do things that will make a difference, in his own quiet way, that speaks louder than it may seem, without affecting anyone else.

The beach scene has to be the most similar from the book. Everything they say is perfect, and is just beautiful. If they cut the beach scene like they did with the cave scene, I will cry and start my own riot…

i love all of those but my absolute favorite is not really a quote but a scene, a part of both the movie and book. katniss is about to shoot a bird when she heres a cannon. she drops everything and starts running, looking for peeta. “peeta!” she yells as loudly as she dares in fear that someone will hear her. then she runs right into him and smacks the nightlock out of his hand and shes so mad and relieved that shes just yelling at him” thats nightlock, peeta! you’d be dead in a minute!” and peetas just whispering ‘ im sorry, im sorry’( although that doesnt happen in the book’ and in that moment katniss doesnt know it or probably refuses to realize it but thats the moment that peeta becomes one of the few people she cares for and would do anything to protect
