The issue features 100 pages of material devoted to the cultural impact, interviews with the cast and crew, and visits to the set of ‘The Hunger Games‘. The issue hits newsstands in Italy today!

Ladies and Gentlemen it is that time again! Time for your Fan Question of the Week!

This week I will spare you on reading an introduction story or making you visualize anything. (Lucky You) The question will be straight to the point..Here it goes:

“What scene/scenes, in your opinion, would new director Francis Lawrence HAVE to add in to make Catching Fire perfect for you?”

Summer-I am hoping to see the first real Johanna and Katniss interaction(arena)…or maybe how they play Peeta talking to the naked Johanna in the elevator. I think they could make that pretty funny. I am also hoping to see more district uprisings and Gale’s lashing(Sorry Audrey and Jacqui)

While promoting ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’, Elizabeth Banks talked with Celebuzz about ‘The Hunger Games‘ director Gary Ross and new ‘Catching Fire‘ director Francis Lawrence.

Was she surprised when Gary Ross decided he would not direct the sequel, Catching Fire?

“I wasn’t that surprised,” Elizabeth, 38, said. “Of course I’m disappointed, I love him we’ve made two movies together now and he’s an amazing filmmaker and he did a great job.”

So what are Elizabeth’s thoughts on the new director Francis Lawrence?

“I also feel like it’s going to be really fun for the franchise to have fresh eyes in there and give someone else as shot,” she continued. “I think Gary is very happy. As long as he’s happy, it’s fine.”

MTV has some sensible advice for ‘The Hunger Games‘ crew before they make their way to the MTV Movie Awards!

DO Dress to Impress Effie

If there’s one place to let your fashion freak flag fly, it’s most certainly at an MTV awards show. (Am I right, Rose McGowan?) Of course, I’m not encouraging any tribute-tushy flashing or donning of flame-licked jumpsuits (such a fire hazard!), but this is a safe space to experiment with fanciful motifs and pieces of flair. For instance, I could see Lawrence sporting a shorter, cropped version of her red, orange and yellow interview dress, or Banks working her sky-high Effie heels.

DON’T Tease Us

Full disclosure: I personally think “Twilight” co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are a lock for a fourth Best Kiss statuette, but if the odds are indeed in Lawrence and Hutcherson’s favor and they’re named victors, I respectfully ask that they give us a show. None of this we-almost-maybe-kinda-sorta-kissed business. If you need some inspiration, Jennifer and Josh, take a page out of Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams’ ”Notebook.”

DO Bring Your Bow and Arrow

The Movie Awards have a storied history of spoofery, and while I have no insider information as to what’s in the works, Lawrence (if in attendance) would be wise to pack her trusty weapon. You never know when it will come in handy for a giggle-worthy gag! (Is this where I put in my request for Lawrence to shoot an apple off of Josh Horowitz’s head?)

The brilliant Suzanne Collins has been honored alongside Forbes‘ Celebrity 100 in their ’10 Rising Stars to Watch’ list.

Every year when we start to work on the Celebrity 100, there are up-and-comers who we hope will make the list. Competing against the likes ofJohnny Depp and Oprah Winfrey, many ultimately don’t. Here are 10 of the celebrities who didn’t make it this year but who we think you should be keeping an eye on.

Author Suzanne Collins has a good chance of making the list next year. There are more than 36 million copies of her Hunger Games trilogy in print and the film based on the first book has earned $620 million at the global box office. Collins will get a tiny slice of the profit from the film but it could be enough to land her on our list.

With the end of The Twilight Saga approaching quickly(16 Nov 2012) The Hunger Games is said to be taking that media spotlight over. Robert Pattinson, who plays brooding vampire Edward Cullen, is perfectly happy to pass on that torch:

“I feel like the [Twilight] frenzy is starting to die down,we step into the era of The Hunger Games, the world wants fresh meat!”

Fans of the Twilight Saga are still just as passionate as ever about the series, and both fandoms (along with the Harry Potter fandom) will go head to head at the upcoming 2012 MTV Movie Awards for the Movie of the Year and Best Kiss categories. (Remember to go VOTE for your fav.)

Could ‘Catching Fire’ Production be Moving to Georgia?

It seems that production on the Catching Fire movie could be moving to the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Last year, The Hunger Games was filmed across North Carolina and had been thought that the sequel, Catching Fire, would head back there and add a couple of new locations including Hawaii to film the arena scenes. However local news guy Russ Bowen put it out on Twitter that “Pre-propduction for catching fire starts in mid June and looks likely soundstage is leaving Charlotte and headed to Atlanta.”

It seems there is no official word yet, but we will keep you updated!
