First Official Look at Catching Fire!
EW has the exclusive premiere of the first official images from Catching Fire! The upcoming cover, below, features Katniss and Finnick posing in front of a lake of fire (metaphorical, I’m sure). They also have a screengrab from the film of Sam Claflin going all “sugary cubey” on Jennifer Lawrence.

Also, am I the only one that was REALLY disappointed by the parade scene in the first movie? Hopefully it’ll be better this time.
Yeah, they should have had their entire bodies on fire, not just the heads. But I think Francis Lawrence will have a better “image” than what Gary Ross did. Katniss’ hair just looks perfect.
yeah i was a little disappointed in the parade scene becuase they were supposed to have crowns with fire and it wasnt just fire off their backs. its supposed to be a whole cape. but i guess they cant do everything…..or can they:/ ….
I thought that the computer generated images (hovercraft, fire in some scenes) and the green screen work was what I was underwhelmed by most (though I loved the movie in general). I have high hopes for Francis Lawrence, which is the main reason I want them to release the trailer soon!!
At first I wasn’t so sure about Sam as Finnick, But I will learn to live with it and now he does not look as bad…
