Yeah Eurovision is a big cheesy joke nobody takes it seriously anymore and deliberately enters bad songs because they don't want to win.
Plus it's corrupt, many countries vote for their neighbours whether they liked their entry or not.
The country that's hosting this year (I can't remember its name) imprisons, stalks and beats people who bad mouth the president! It's one of the most corrupt and oppressive countries in Europe. The first lady is the prime minster who got an impossible 99% of the vote! Their son in law is singing.
Peoples homes were destroyed while they were still inside to make room for the stadium Eurovision will be held in!
That's why I wouldn't be watching.

Maybe, but allowing them to host this event could is condoning the regime.
