Here's a photo of my finished arrows. I got rid of the small gauged wire for the fins and used hard plastic from office depot (think report cover paper, clear, easy to cut) I made a stencil out of a folder and used a dry erase marker to mark the clear plastic and then cut. When the clear arrow fin guides were all done I wiped the dry erase off and used these, lining them up opposite and underneath where I placed the strips of tinfoil. After all the tinfoil was placed I used this plastic as a grip to fold the tape more easily and it worked really nicely. Cut off the excess with scissors which glide nicely through the tape but stop at the plastic and hooray, arrow fins! One word of advice is to be cautious with your super glue, I applied too much so some of my arrows have a cloudy streak at the base of the fins but other than that I am very happy with the arrows. Thanks for the guide! I got a lot of compliments at Dragon*Con for making them myself
