i just realized that if katniss didn't win, the quarter quell wouldnt have had the victors copete again. any thoughts?

"if she didnt win" would only mean that she would be dead and Peeta the victor who most likely would end up like Haymitch and Catching Fire would not have a plot anymore

oh true! if she didn't win, there would be no girl tribute victor from district 12 in the quarter quell. i guess they'd just draw a new namelike any other reaping.

all i meant was, if she didnt win, what would happen to the quarter quell since district 12 wouldn't have a girl victor for the games. it may segest that the quarter quells are not planed till they need to. i thought it was inplied that they are planned ahead of time, like years before.

Well Quarter Quell's are supposed to be planned years before, but i think because of the occasion since it was Katniss and Peeta's first Quarter Quell exceptions were made and the Quarter Quell was made to where they would have to go back in.

since you're playing the "what if" game...

what if Peeta had died during the Games and Katniss was the only victor, then Katniss and Haymitch would have been the tributes in the Quarter Quell lol
