Man: There’s been a lot of talk recently about PDs, um Katniss, have you been using performance enhancing drugs?
Katniss: Absolutely not.
Man: Ok, follow up for Peeta; Have you been using performance reducing drugs?

We have reasons to love each one of them.
Gale: Someone really strong that you can depend on. After everything that happened in the end, people seem to forget that Gale would have been the one taking care of Katniss' family if she'd never returned from the arena. He's the kind of boyfriend you can guarantee will always be faithful to you. Yet, he has his faults. Here's something I wrote on my Tumblr a few days ago.
"The fact that Gale never meant to kill Prim, to me, is not even to be discussed. Yes Gale wanted to burn the Capitol and step on the ashes, but if he had the choice to kill anyone, would it be Primrose Everdeen? Definitely not. Still, the fact that he did kill those children is to be interpreted. In one way or another, I believe he knew Coin’s plan. He knew those bombs he invented were heading to the capitol, and specifically to Snow’s mansion where a bunch of children were hiding. He meant to kill those children. The only detail he didn’t know was the presence of Primrose at the spot. So in conclusion, Gale is a hateful and blood hungry person, but did he kill Prim, or at least mean to? Nope. Did he kill those capitol children? Yes. This alone is evil enough."
Peeta: The choice between Gale and Peeta to me has always been the choice between the boy who'll conquer your attacker with your collaboration and the boy who'll tell you to run as fast as you can, and will try alone and will probably die. Gale is stronger, but Peeta is more dedicated and faithful. His goodness is not even something you can discuss, and he still can protect you, not by his physical strength, but by the power of his love.
So in the end, I'll go for Peeta.
