This was a preliminary draft in PDF format that was submitted to Color Force. Rewriter drafts are submitted every day, sometimes twice a day. It is not a final draft of the script. It has not been approved. The production is set to shoot in August and no script has been decided upon yet. There is a rush on, and a slight bit of panic considering sets must be constructed, the cast must be cast, and the locations must be identified, and/or created. Legal must be involved.

This script was submitted as a work in progress. It's only got 63 pages... That's all. Nobody said it was chosen. Nobody said it was done. The writing is being rushed. Everything about the CF film is in flux. Gary Ross quit. Simon's script was rejected.

Nobody gives a hoot about typos right now. It's all about story. Nobody was supposed to see this.

What's been leaked is a draft, not a final script, just a writer's daily progress.

What Jabber jay said :?

Anyway, I was over exaggerating my reaction to the Gale thing. It's not like I'm going to say death to the script because it's got a few typos in it. No need to accuse everyone on this forum of being "cronies for the Capitol."

Not everyone, but seriously, how do you think something like this gets here? You think some writer just writes a script and brings it here? What will that do? The name's been redacted. There are people in the studios who care about this project deeply. There are more than one script floating around. The chances of this script being chosen are BAD compared to some of the safer ones. My opinion is that the studio does not want to rock the boat and will NOT shoot this. It's a complete reinvention. They figure it's safer to make an action movie, rather than tackle the themes in this.

this is NOT going viral. Maybe it's not what the fans want. And the studio heads do know how to make money. Some people want this kind of film and want to see this franchise get deeper rather than simply do an action film that is safe and makes nobody think.

I am heated because the risks some people took to bring this to you are not being appreciated. The person who leaked this to me is a true fan. The script is losing out to a more lame version of events. The leak is not going viral and my personal opinion is that this script is not going to be made. The leak was an attempt to get it going viral and make the studios think twice before choosing something safe.

Apologies for the attitude, but this leak was actually a desperate attempt to expose the Hunger Games fandom to something incredibly wonderful and mindblowing. It doesn't look good.

peace and love to all. sorry for the 'tude. Dreams are dying tonight.

Nothing's posted on here. There's just a link to a Tumbler, and nothing's posted there either, just a link to another blog, and that's where the script is.

It would be different if this blog was hosting the script, but it's not.
