What happens next? You decide!

OK so I've has this idea for a while and I think it could be really fun.
There's a game where someone starts a story then it's passed on the another person who continues it and it's then passed on to someone else ect. The result is often a story that makes no sense. E.g.:
person 1: Once upon a time there was a mouse named Jess who lived in the woods. One day...
person 2: A purple squirrel knocked on her door and said "Hi I'm your new neighbour. Wanna go to the magic castle?" Jess said...
person 3: "Sure. I'll pack some sandwiches." They skipped along the road untill out of nowhere jumped out a...
Well you get the idea with that.
So shall we make own THG fan fiction all together like this where one person writes one chapter then another writes the next ect.
Or shall we just make up really random stories like the one above?
