  1. Natalie says:

I really like version I. I like the dramatic-ness of the flames curling up the sides because it makes the text stand out more, and the colors and styles fit in with the classic Hunger Games theme.

  2. Emily Beling says:

i think cover F is the best because it has the symbol which suggests the mockingjay and it is eye catching and obvious it is to do with the hunger games :) xxx

  3. Michelle says:

Gotta go with F. The cooking utencials in a circle looking like the Mockingjay symbol is cute. Plus the fire isn’t ridiculously big, so for me its representing the fire starting out and growing, just like Katniss and the rebellion. The fire is just starting :)

  4. Sophie says:

i prefer cover g the flames dont overpower the rest of the cover, the text is clear and the use of the knife, the 2 pronged fork and the cirle make me think of the monkingjay pin which reminds me of the hunger games.

  5. Kimi says:

    I like I best.

  6. Brittany says:

Goin with I. Gotta love it

  7. Kimi says:

I liked the crossed utensils in I, and it had the best fire placement that wasn’t too much – it still gave you that corner that was open, so there was still some wiggle room for the rebels.

  8. Kaitlyn says:

I like G because it has that cool thing that looks like a mockingjay pin wih a knife and a fork. I also like the flames in the background. It looks somewhat like the cover of the DVD.

  9. Kaitlyn says:

I like G because it has that cool thing that looks like a mockingjay pin wih a knife and a fork. I also like the flames in the background. It looks somewhat like the cover of the DVD. You can tell its HG related.

  10. MiniKatniss says:

I won and you have a chance but don’t forget your email!!! Ps I like cover b. keep up the good work may the odds be ever in your flavor!

  11. Kaylee L says:

    Bit of a toss up between I and A…. but I choose… A.

  12. berna says:

Definitely option F. The background contrasts well with the writing and the fire height is just right so that it draws your eyes to the title! The crossed utensils gives a great play on the mockingjay symbol!

  13. Christel says:

    Hello,
    Here’s my opinion.
Between all the covers, my favorite is the “G” one.
because in the others, the fire background is a problem : It makes the title somewhat unreadable.
In the covers A, B, C and D, the titles are too big and don’t really attract me.
The + : All the covers can tell it’s HG related.
    Good luck to all !
Hope my comment helps you !

  14. Alison B. says:

I like “I” the best. It just appeals to me the most and I would probably stop to look at it in the store. I like how it has flames on it but the don’t take up the whole background.

  15. Karin says:

    I go with F

By the other books the flames distract you to much, by this cover it’s exactly enough.
It looks also a lot like the hunger games poster, so people who like the hunger games books/movie will automatically be drawn to the book. Because you have to admit, every time you walk in to a bookshop and you see the book or you catch a glimpse of the book on a webshop you grab the book for a moment/look at it. Just to relive Katniss her awesome journey through district 12, the capitol and the arena.
So when people do it now they notice that its not the hunger games book, but a recipe book! They will get curious and buy the book immediately!

So thats why we have to choose book cover F :)

    And to everyone:

“May the odds be ever in your favor”
    – Effie Trinket (created by Susan Collins)

  16. Marc says:

    I like I the best!

  17. i pick B because it reminds me of Clove and her knives.and she died in the hunger games so at least give her some sympanthny. she probably had a family back home thats wishing for her to return.

  18. Jose Torres says:

    G. I like it because its eye catching and it reminds me of one of the posters for the movie.

  19. iheartbooks4ever says:

Option F is the best in my opinion, the flame design isn’t too overpowering like it is in some of the others. I also love the mockingjay-type symbol in the middle with crossed cooking untensils. This design, if i were to see it on a book, would immediately remind me of the Hunger Games, and being as much of a fan as I am I would stop and look at anything that looked like the Hunger Games. If anyone loves all-things Hunger Games than I know they would take a second look at this book.

  20. Marya says:

    H. Because its very bright and looks really nice.

  21. José says:

    F. I choose F because it has just the perfect amount of flames, really reminds me of the movie.

  22. Juniper48111 says:

    I like G! But I already have the cookbook…

  23. Jose says:

“I” looks the best so I’m choosing that one

  24. Gloria says:

“F” is my favorite! Thanks for chance at the giveaway!

  25. KK101 says:

I, da cover is very eye catching

  26. Elizabeth says:

I like F because it has the right amount of flames in it and everything about it looks like the hunger games which to me should be the goal to get anyone into the hunger games to stop and take a good look at it.(:

  27. claudine ampolitod says:

i like H because i like the flames in the background. the flames seemed getting nearer to the circle which i interpret as the food :)

  28. Mark says:

I like I the best. It catches your eye and looks pretty cool for a Hunger Games recipe book. :)

  29. Jessica L says:

    I like F the best.

  30. Sadie Farison says:

    B

  31. Olivia says:

I like G because the knife and fork remind me of the mockingjay pin on fire.

  32. Tiffany Winner says:

    I think i like G or I best

    thismomwins@gmail.com

  33. Rachel says:

I like F. It resembles the Hunger Games cover. I would be more likely to stop and check it out for that very reason. It would catch my attention as something Hunger Games related.

  34. Tessa says:

I like “I” it’s got the cool crossed utensils in place of the pin but it still makes you think of he pin and also the flames in the background are nice. It’s better than a random circle in tr background like a few of the others

  35. Sapphy MELLARK says:

    I -

the flames look more realistic and the way they curl up the sides look realy dramatic plus its the hunger games it looks good how ever!!!!

  36. Katnissfan1997 says:

I’m Going with G because it feels like the Hunger Games. And more people can relate to it because it looks like the movie poster.

  37. i love peeta mellark says:

G – because it just feels hungergamesish and as though it was another book in the series

  38. Hungergamesaddicted says:

My favourite one is F. The fire makes me remember Katniss and the central image the mockingjay so that’s why it’s my favourite one.

  39. Kaitlyn says:

    I. I like this cover because I love how the fire kind of goes up the side and then makes the title stand out. I also love how there’s a knife and pitchfork. Since both tools could be used either in the arena or in the kitchen, it capture that the book is Hunger Games themed but also a cookbook.

  40. Katie Wong says:

I like F the most because it has a really good balance of the black background and flames. I also like the symbol with the utensils as well :)

  41. TridentLove42 says:

I like G. It’s simple, clean, and overall my favorite. If I had to pick a second, it would be F.

  42. KJ says:

I prefer ‘ F ‘ as it is more subtle and I think it resonates with the book’s subtle presentation of a gruesome topic of starving people and killing children, but in a palatable way to which people can relate.

It’s interesting, isn’t it. The only RULE to speak of in the Arena was to not eat other participants. Yet, these kids were starving to death.

However, ‘ I ‘ is my second choice. It’s just more ‘in your face’.

  43. KJ says:

Also, I think most of us are drawn to the bottom row because the circle (plate), knife and fork (or pitch fork or possibly Trident) reminds us of the MockingJay pin/symbol.

Alternatively, there were several knifing events in the Trilogy so no one knifing event sticks out…with the possible exception of when Peeta repeatedly stabbed the mutant monkey in the back after it attacked him and took our the female morphling due to her sacrifice.

  44. Emma Nicholson says:

H, it keeps to the original symbol idea for all three of the books and is the most eye catching out of all of them. Thanks for the chance!

  45. JMia Barrow says:

I like F, it’s simple, but you still get the intensity of what you are trying to put across (if that makes sense, haha), also it reminds me of like a campfire (for cooking smores, tehe).

  46. ed reyna says:

    i think i the best

  47. lola says:

    Definitely I

  48. Rachel Elisabeth says:

I like cover D the best. All the colours blend and fit nicely together, which makes it look attractive! Cover D also resembles the Hunger Games very well. The single knife is a good symbol for both a weapon of the arena and a eating utensil! The fire does the same; good for the girl on fire and a cooking fire that gives me a hardy appetite!
May the odds be ever in your favor!

  49. Isabella says:

I like F the best. It would catch my eye in a store even if i wasn’t a huge Hunger Games fan. There is just the right amount of flames and the fork and knife in the circle is of course similar to the mockingjay pin.

  50. Carly says:

    Defiantly G.

  51. Julia says:

I am going to have to pick I :) I love how the flames are reaching out from the side, instead of the top, bottom, and sides like the other covers. Also, I think that the flames being on the side makes the title letters stand out better! Even though the title fonts of A, B, C, and D look more like the Hunger Games book font, I think it is too flashy. Those letters stand out more, but if you have a cover like ‘I’ then you can notice and appreciate the background and the fork and knife ‘mockingjay pin’ :)

“Thank you for your consideration.” and “May the odds be ever in everybody’s favor.” :D (Sorry for the long comment)

  52. Lauren says:

F, its very simple but effective! Its eye catching and looks modern too.

  53. Morgan says:

I really like C. The bold, hunger game styled text really jumps out at me and the knife logo compliments the background flames nicely. This cover would definitely stand out on any bookshelf.

  54. Annie Browen says:

I realy like the idea of cover A. I like the boldniss of the script in the middle of the cover and the light ring around it forming its own pin, very creative may I say. I also love the way the flames enshroud and kinda of eat awy at the lettering its very eye catching. The 176 Being in a bold print highlighted by such a dramatic yellow is also something I drew my eye to right away. I really like this covor both because the way it is designed but second because of the incorpreation of the hunger games theme and the knife at the bottom which could be thought of as a cooking tool or a survial weapon. If I had to choose I would for sure choose A.

  55. Soesja says:

G, because it’s not that outstanding, but that’s just what I like. It’s very simple, but powerful.

  56. Amber Paterson says:

I like option G because this cover really reminds me of the actual Hunger Games logo with the fire leaping out from the badge and I think that many people would recognise it too and therefore maybe making more sales. I also would choice option G as it is very creative with the knife replacing the moockingjay and that the picture is the main part of it and the writing s not too bold to take away that attention. Although it may not have the bold 176 i believe that the picture will draw enough attention anyway. My final reason for choosing G is that it is one of the most simplistic of them all and that is what the recipes from the hunger games wll be, simple. It is also the best in the way that it has’nt used too much fire unlike the others.
So to conclude i believe that option G is the best to choose because:
    1) It best resembles the Hunger Games
    2) It is simplistic like the recipes will be as that is what the Hunger Games is about
    3) It is the most eye catching as it has one bold picture and your eye locks onto it
    4) And finally it look sthe best :)

  57. Dennis A. says:

My vote would go for G, because to me (even though this may be too much of an analysis for just a cover) it takes on the characteristics of The Hunger Games with the bit of flame still contained by the encroaching darkness, though it shows signs of breaking free. Also, the surrounding flames are obviously reminiscent of the mockingjay pin, an item with such a significant impact on the series. The other covers are beautiful, but G has the most impact because it has the icon we all cherish.

  58. gdawg says:

My favorite cover is G. I would see this in a bookstore because it catches my attention immediately! It has a big resemblance to the flaming mockingjay pin, which not only the fans of the books would recognize. People who have seen the movie, trailers, and posters would recognize it, too. I love how the fork and knife represent the mockingjay pin and even the ring that it’s sitting on reminds me of a plate! The other covers would work but I think that Cover G fits the best and resembles the flaming mocokingjay!

  59. Marissa says:

I love C! It gets the message across and you KNOW it’s for The Hunger Games :)

  60. Sam says:

F! Because it looks like a fire is coming up 2 cook something n 2 hav a recipe u must cook something!! <33

  61. Talia says:

i would say I because it reminds me the most of the hunger games. I also like the way the flames look on it and the icon with the fork and knife.

  62. Karli McLeod says:

While all of the options are far more visually appealing or creative than I could have ever come up with, I’d have to choose “F” as my favorite cover. It is effectively eye-catching and has a very streamlined look while still maintaining the integrity of the artwork and ideas from the Hunger Games books. The fire is not overwhelming, but also reminds me of the girl on fire, and also the flames that one sometimes sees while cooking. The font used for the title is genuine enough, but is not overkill, as it is in some of the other cover options. The very bold and chunky lettering used in “A” and ones similar to that is too much to look at and is a bit overwhelming. Again, good job to all, but my vote is for selection “F.”

  63. Symonne says:

    G. It’s straightforward and simple; easy to read, neat.

  64. Teagan says:

I would pick F, because of with the knife and fork it’s really showing Hunger Games food. Then the flames look really cool how they are coming up from the bottom. Also it has the 176 in the corner which is nice information to put on it.

  65. ThePaperclipGirl says:

I like G, but I think the “176″ should be on there. But the one thing I don’t like about it, is the font, because the font looks a bit better on the first 4. But out of all those, for sure G

  66. rachel says:

i like G the best. it reminds me of MOckingjay, with the black but it si=till looks like a cookbook. it looks like something I’d wanna have and open and cook with hehe :D

  67. KT says:

Either F or I. The font on A-D remind me too much of Star Wars font..

  68. fiona says:

g i just live the simple plain backgroubd and the simble reminds me of the mockingjay pin

  69. Live4Book says:

B cuz it has the Hunger Games font and I dont like that 176 recipes in a circle. I love B!

  70. Liza says:

    I like B
I love all the fiery backgrounds they look really good.

  71. Gina says:

F! I like the fire in the background, and this is the cover that says “hunger games” to me. You don’t need to understand, but this is my favorie. :)
