How to get the Scholastic Mockingjay Pin
It’s long been one of the most sought-after Hunger Games items – the official Scholastic Mockingjay pin. They were initially only available to those that ordered the books through the book clubs. Even though all three books have now long been released by Scholastic, they’ve decided (on Suzanne Collins’ birthday) to include them with any order of The Hunger Games series box-set in September.

I got my Hunger Games Pin for about $3. I needed one for my Halloween Costume (I went as Katniss in the Mockingjay Suit) but they weren’t selling any at the time. What we did was go to Borders, buy a HG key chain, and then we found a gold pin back and attached it. It took probably five minutes to do, and it still looks good.

@Diane you can get a brooch – but as far as I know they’re out of stock at the moment. Keep an eye on amazon though, as I’m sure they’ll have more soon (hopefully)

I didn’t buy one because they were $20 but if you’re in Canada I saw these pins today at Coles/Chapters/Indigo! They are nice bronze ones. WalMart I heard sells them but could not find them here.
hey i have been looking for the scholastic gold mockingjay pins and i cant find them anywhere i already have the book set and my mom wont let me buy it on ebay because they only have it in america anyone know how i can get it and is the pin coming out in this september in the book orders?
Really nice to have if you’re a hunger games fan. There are a lot of these on Amazon now though from different manufacturers.
