Hunger Games Cosplay

| June 22, 2012 More

As everyone know My Hunger Games LOVES supporting Hunger Games fans in whatever they do to bring The Hunger Games Trilogy to life. Whether it be fan fiction, fan art, or cosplay, so when we find articles about these things we like to share them with the whole fandom. This article is no exception so here it goes.

This week some very interesting cosplayers showed up at the Sudbury Star newspaper to be interviewed in anticipation fo a huge cosplay event in Fielding Park in Sudbary, Ontario.  The players that showed up to the interview were a steampunker equipt with a gun, someone dressed head to toe in Halo armor, and Seneca Crane from The Hunger Games.

How awesome is that???

Nadine Olivier is going to the picnic dressed up as amazing beard wearing Seneca Crane. She says her costume took about a week to put together, but it's not perfect.

“Sometimes I obsess about every little detail,” she said, claiming that the red of her shirt is not the right shade. Yes, I know I am wearing a costume, I know I look ridiculous, but I am having fun,” she said.

And what do you think is the most important thing when making a costume? At some point you have to go to the bathroom!

So have you ever went to a cosplay/convention dressed as a Hunger Games character? If so let us know in the comments and send us pics! Who knows you may be featured in our Fan Art Friday post.

I dressed as Katniss and my little cousin dressed as Prim, a friend of my cousin dressed as Rue. The scene was when Katniss attempted to teach Prim how to hunt, and the other was Katniss and Rue in the training center.

My site appreciates articles like this! Although we primarily deal with the archery aspect of The Hunger Games, many of my visitors are looking for cosplay ideas and items. Thanks!
