We have some very exciting news! This summer, your favorite Hunger Games Fan Sites will be bringing you the first ever Hunger Games Fan Convention, called Victory Tour 2013 | Life in the Districts. One of our own admins, Kelsey, is a Gamemaker for the event. While specific dates and schedules have not been decided, we do know the convention will be held near original Hunger Games set itself in North Carolina!

The press release below not only describes the weekend, but also has information on a Kickstarter that has been set up for the event. You should definitely check this out, if for no other reason than to see two of our admins, Summer and Kelsey, representing the event on behalf of My Hunger Games in the Kickstarter video! Plus the littlest bit you can donate will lend a big hand in helping us get this convention off of the ground, and it will get you a bunch of perks!

The Hunger Games Convention You Won’t Want to Miss

Victory Tour is a Hunger Games convention taking place in North Carolina in the summer of 2013, created by fans for fans. This convention will unite fans of all ages, though focusing on those 12 years and older, and will give them something to call their own. Events that will be happening at the convention include: Opening Ceremonies, a Hunger Games musical, Fashion Show/Costume Contest, a Reaping, The Tribute Games and Training Center, a movie night, and the Harvest Festival closing ceremonies. There will also be the Career Lounge, a place where those who have purchased Career level registration (Rockstar) will be able to relax between events. Those who have purchased Career registration will also be getting several more perks, to be announced at a later date.
