Fan of the Week – Brigitte
Our Hunger Games Fan of the Week is rapper, Brigitte, who has sent us in a freestyling rap she wrote about The Hunger Games.
What is it about The Hunger Games you love so much?
It’s just such a unique and excellent story, from the first book I was hooked and couldn’t wait to read more. Aside from that, I think it gives people hope that you DO have the power to change things, if you’re brave enough to try.
Who is your favorite character in The Hunger Games?
Katniss. The girl has guts and does so much to protect Prim. Honorable mention Effie for being so flippin fabulous.
What did you think of The Hunger Games movie?
Well I’ve already seen the movie (my cousin and I preordered tickets for opening day and I filmed the video I’m submitting the same day) but it lived up to my expectations. The books were so awesome, I was afraid the movie couldn’t live up to the hype, but it did. The visuals were stunning, especially the wild style of the Capitol.
What’s your favorite Hunger Games quote?
“May the odds be ever in your favor” because my cousin and I shouting it at family get togethers really never gets old. I like it so much, I included it in my rap.
