Hunger Games Sequel Officially Titled “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”
Lionsgate has announced a minor title change for the second part of their blockbuster franchise. Formerly titled ‘Catching Fire‘, the Francis Lawrence-directed sequel, will now be called ’The Hunger Games: Catching Fire‘.
The film is written by Simon Bea and Michael Arndt. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire returns with Francis Lawrence at the helm of the film and stars Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Lenny Kravitz (Cinna), Elizabeth Banks (Effie Trinket), Stanley Tucci (Cesear Flickerman), Donald Sutherland (President Snow), Toby Jones (Claudius Templesmith) and Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy). Hopefully, we will hear some more casting news as Lionsgate starts their search for the other stars of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”

Some news for a lousy day of mine. That really isn’t a name change, it’s either called “Catching Fire” or “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”, as long as the story itself is in tact, there’s no problem or change. I’ve felt like all I’ve done is wait, wait, wait. For information on Catching Fire, for any new on-set photos of The Sea of Monsters, and bled dry of Breaking Dawn Part 2. I guess I’m going to have to wait either way. -_-
P.S. Reading a new series called “The Heir Chronicles”, I’m on “The Warrior Heir” as we speak, and I’ve just found out that the author, Cinda Williams Chima, will be publishing two new Heir books. I bought the whole first three together in a boxset, now I’m going to have to wait *again*. And a little note to self: I’m going to need to finish the Warriors Saga books. On Fanpop I feel like I’m out of the loop.!

That was expected. They need to do that with movies, so people know it’s a sequal or at least related to its predecessor.
