It Starts at Midnight!
With all the great Hunger Games DVD release parties all over the U.S. so many stores are having amazing parties, and ways to interact over the net through twitter. Here are links for all the parties and the info for them. Or click HERE to find a party near you!
Summer from My Hunger Games will be hanging out at the Blockbuster in Yuba City, CA (40 min north of Sacramento, CA) for their midnight screening and party(9:00-10:00). She will be taking pics, doing interviews, and handing out prizes! Some prizes will go for best costume, trivia, and more so make sure to stop by and say hi. Also, Blockbuster will be giving out free posters with every DVD purchase. And if you are in the Roseville, CA areas she will be heading to the Wal-Mart there for their release party as well (11:00-12:00).
We also want to see YOUR pics! I am getting ready right now and before that i had totally forgotten that the hunger games comes out today until I went onto myhungergames! Thank you for posting this onto ur website! Now I just have to convince my parents to drive me to Walmart!!! I am running around right now while im typing this wile screaming he hunger games comes out at midnight!!

They were supposed to have a pre-party for the release of The Hunger Games from 11:00 p.m- 11:59 p.m. It shoud’ve included trivia, contests, giveaways, but no.. our Wal-Mart had to be the one that didn’t. They were like 15 of us waiting, and at 11:40, they gave us all free cupcakes. Around 11:45, we just left. So we came home basically empty handed… but oh well. Going to buy the DVD today!
They didn’t have any mid night releases where i live…
But because I live on the west, I have western and eastern channels on my tv and got to watch it at 9:00 yesterday because it was 18 on the east and 17 on the west

Got mine at Target to get the 3-disc exclusive. Took an hour something drive to get there, but I got it and just got home to watch it!

NO WAYY!!!!!!!!! wish i was in the U.S right now. waaaahhhh i wish my holiday to NY wasnt back in june, and it was during the midnight parties. :’( anybody know if there are gonna be any in England on release??
