Josh Hutcherson with Driver on the Catching Fire Set
Remember when Hunger Games star, Josh Hutcherson got a new dog called Driver. He was a rescue dog that Josh adopted earlier in the year – an adorable pit bull puppy. Well, Driver is a lot bigger now, but just as adored by Josh. It seems they are inseparable, with Josh taking Driver with him to the set of Catching Fire.

God im sooooooo excited for Catching fire!!
ME TOOO!!!!!!!! DO YOU THINK THE MOVIE WILL HAVE THE ADVANTAGE OF MAKEING THE THE FILM A BIT MORE VIOLENCE THIS YEAR BECAUSE MOST OF THE TRIBUTES THIS YEAR ARE ALL OLDER??? HOPE IT IS
**Catching Fire Spoiler**
Yeah, there shouldn’t be the problem of hiding/sugarcoating the violence as all the tributes are basically adults and none of the younger ones really get killed in front of you. There are some really violent and graphic PG-13(Hunger Games rating in case you’re not American) movies and the only thing stopping them really with the first movie was that it involved children of course.
This movie will be awesome! Also I like josh hutcherson even more now that I know he has a rescue pit bull puppy!!!!!!!!!! Now all he needs is a retired racing greyhound! They are such sweet dogs!
Not sure that would work with a pitbull.
While I understand that the greyhound may teach the pitbull to be more laid back, I not sure that would work. Good question to ask some animal authority, though.
I’m thinking a pitbull that was rescued may very well keep the paparazzi AND the stalking girls at bay. People should think twice about trying to get near him.
As I understand it, that pitbull owes his life to Josh. He spent a bunch of money to get it healthy. I think it’s back legs had been run over by a car and wasn’t expected to live. If the dog is healed from all his injuries…and he looks pretty healthy to me (Although stairs may be a problem)…he will be a ‘hell on wheels’ watchdog…at least until the arthitis takes him in about 8 to 10 years.
Wish we could see the dog’s face.
Also, looks like the dog AND Josh have been to obedience school. Holding at the right length of leash to maintain control of the dog…should he get spooked.
I’m a guy, but I have to admit this is cute.
awww! Drivers sooo cute!!
He is so cute! (Driver and Josh!) I can’t wait for catching fire!
KJ, shut up. Your bias against pit bulls disgusts me. They are amazing dogs and you would know that if you took your head out of your butt!!
Wonderful of you Josh to adopt a pit bull as your companions. I once adopted a whippet and she, Heidi, was a wonderful family pet with the sweetest personality.
