Josh Hutcherson Gets Behind NOH8 Campaign
Josh Hutcherson does some amazing work for his Straight But Not Narrow campaign – now he’s joined forces with his co-founders to lend support to the crew behind NOH8.
If you haven’t heard of NOH8 before, they’re a charitable organization that works to promote marriage, gender and human equality through education, advocacy, social media, and most importantly, visual protest.
They have compiled some amazing photographs to act as a silent protest. You can find out more

I’m not sure what sense of entitlement celebs feel. I’m sensing it must be big enough for them to believe they can influence the course of nature, morality, laws, etc. I just want to say I’m NO LONGER a JHutch fan and really think the Hunger Games franchise will hurt because of JHutch’s gay push. You’re an actor not a politician!
I doubt it would hurt the franchise one little bit. For every person that doesn’t agree with Josh Hutcherson and thinks his campaign is wrong, there are many others that welcome his support and admire his work and efforts.
I seriously have no idea how Josh supporting something he wants to would affect the Hunger Games franchise. It doesnt mean hes gay hes just suporting it so no longer being a fan is your loss :/
There is absolutly nothing wrong with Josh being a part of the NOH8 campagine at all. I think it is a great thing that celebrities are taking an intitive to try and bring awarness to the fact thatthere is nothing wrong with who you are. Bullying has become a huge problem and I think that with the celebrities getting more involved in the cause is a really good thing and it will help even in a minor way. So anyone who thinks this will affect the Hunger Games franchise needs to rethink because if you look up the NOH8 campaigne, you will realise how many celebrities are actually apart of this campaigne and how many celebrities you are probably fans of and realise it doesnt affect their franchises or careers.
@Axiom are you that narrow minded? Seriously? Josh is doing an amazing thing for the gay community! This will in NO WAY hurt the HG Franchise, in fact it will make it STRONGER knowing that someone as influential as Josh is doing such a WONDERFUL campaign! I did this campaign when it first came out and I volunteer for them whenever they are in LA! People from ALL walks of life do this, not just gay people. Get over it and just learn to accept people for who they are and now who they sleep with. Don’t judge Josh because he supports the gay community, I am a HUGE supporter like Josh and I am not gay! Neither is half of the people who support it. Some people just really upset me with their narrow minded thinking. #RIDICULOUS
Im not saying that i think being gay is normal, in my opinion it is disgusting. But this campaign isnt just for that its for who ever wants to get married can get married nobodys hands should be tied if they love sombody! so i admire him for doing this.
I personally believe being gay is just unnatural and gross, but if Josh is for it then more power to him I guess. I thought he was already part of that Straight But Not Narrow campaign? Or am I mistaken and that wasn’t a campaign?
Standing up for what you believe in doesn’t mean you’re “entitled.” Being an actor means he’s in the spotlight. He has the power to influence and he knows it. At least he is standing up for what he believes is right.
It shows that he cares about more than just himself. No matter if you agree with what he stands for or not, you have to admit that it’s admirable of him to be so passionate about something.
*Sidenote – This country used to believe it was “gross” and “disgusting” for African Americans to have the same rights as everyone else. History tends to repeat itself. People may want to re-evaluate what side of the argument they’re on.
(theres a diffirence)
And what is the difference? Is it because of the Bible? No matter what the supposed difference, we (as a country) are denying rights to human beings because their differences are considered unacceptable.
Not to mention the U.S. is supposed to practice separation of church and state. Laws are not supposed to be influenced by religion, Christianity or otherwise.
If two men or two women want to marry, what business is it of ours? None. Yet, somehow we think it is. People should quit worrying about what other people do with their lives and worry their own.
*worry about their own.
…who cares.
If you look at them all…Josh is the so short, and i hope he stays like that ^_^
