We just put the question out there the other day about which book you think should be split into two so that The Hunger Games series comes out as four movies as planned.
Now Liam Hemsworth, who plays Gale Hawthorne in the movie, has revealed in an interview with Fan Share that the original plan was The Hunger Games to be shot back-to-back.
The Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth, has revealed how the original plan was to film The Hunger Games movies back to back but they then changed that decision and decide to film them one at a time. Liam admitted that he had a great time filming The Hunger Gamesand it was in no small part, due to the onset locations that the cast and crew had the privilege of experiencing.
Hemsworth explained, “No, originally I think they talked about maybe shooting them back-to-back, but no, we shot the first one and it was all shot in North Carolina. You know, it was great. It was awesome. We shot in a place called Asheville, which is like beautiful, beautiful forests. And then part of it we shot all the reaping stuff, which was just crazy, because the reaping in the book and in the script is such an emotional thing for everyone. It really did feel like that when we were shooting it. You know, the thought of young kids going off into this scary kind of world was pretty crazy.”
