Megan Hayes on being part of Catching Fire
The big buzz in Atlanta is the filming of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. There’s loads of reports of just where the movie is being shot and and some of the movements around town of the stars of the film.
The Atlanta Midtown Patch hoped they’d get a bit more information from one of the local actors. Megan Hayes will be seen in Catching Fire as the female tribute from District 6, but it seems when it comes spilling the beans on what’s happening on set, she’s just as tight lipped as anyone else that’s ever had anything to do with the movie.
But she did tell them that she feels incredibly lucky to be taking part.
“I feel so lucky, so blessed and honored to be a part of this project,” Hayes recently told Patch. “The books are great, the actors are top notch, it’s really a dream job.”
“I wish I could tell you more but I just can’t,” Hayes said, referring to the many non-disclosure contracts that she has signed. “What I can say is that it really hasn’t sunk in, but I feel humbled. I love being an actor. I love being a part of a project of such magnitude and can only hope that more opportunities like this will come down the road.”
