This site has been going for about 2 months and we’re so happy with all the positive support we’ve got from our lovely visitors that we’ve decided to give away a free mockingjay pin to one of our readers.
That’s right, we’re giving away an exclusive mockingjay pin.
So how can you be in with a chance to win? All you need to do is post the following tweet on twitter:

The actual size of pin is 1.5 inches in diameter, with the mockingjay’s wings and tail jutting out slightly from the ring. The pin also comes with a special message from author Suzanne Collins about her inspiration for The Hunger Games.
As far as we know the pin is NOT available in stores and was available only through pre-order from select middle schools book orders. The pin comes sealed in plastic with a promotional Mockingjay card that has a special message from Suzanne Collins about her inspiration for The Hunger Games. The card says “Your book will be delivered right to your home the week of August 24″ however the giveaway is for the pin only. We will NOT be sending the book with the pin.
One lucky winner will be drawn at random on August 1, 2010 at midnight (EDT).
The giveaway is open to everyone – anywhere ! Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor.

You can’t buy them – unfortunately scholastic only gave these to people who pre-ordered Mockingjay through their book club. If they ever become available to purchase we will let you know.

I read on scholastics site that they might sell the Mockingjay pin for order in Septembers Tab and Teen Readers club thingy so theirs a way to get it!
