I hope the one of Katniss is at the beginning of the arena age doesn’t seem dirty enough…and they don’t even have the correct arena uniform colors. I can see them changing aspects of the uniform sure, but the entire thing?

You can see blonde bits in his hair, it’s probably just a combination of regrowth and dirt
Why do I got a feeling that they’re going to make them “pretty dirty” and not really dirty like described in the book??
I get not making the clothes and everything perfect but Peeta sort of has to be blonde.They darkened Liams hair because Gale has to have the dark hair of the miners and the grey eyes and dark hair all the seam people seem to have but Peetas blonde hair was what made him different since he lived in the town as the bakers son and all.And I really hope they dont totally ruin the series with this movie…..altgough they are taking their time with it which makes it seem like it wont suck like twilight did once the movies were releaesd.And HG has a stronger csst so that helps

What scene is this? I can only think of the one where Katniss finds Peeta with the cut in his leg but they couldn’t be that far into the movie, can they? Or am I just being a little bit stupid >_< lol

Im so excited! I am happy with their appearance. I think josh’s hir looks a bit darker because of he dirt.I also this Katniss doesnt look olived skinned because of lighting from the sun. I mean look at her hair where the sun hits.See what Im talking about?
oh dont complain these are great! i mean maybe hes not as blond as hes susposed to be.. i thought josh was the worst choice now it actually looks pretty good if he can act it.. i have a feeling a trailer will come soon because of all these pictures..Keep your fingers crossed!

I definitely think that the one of katniss is at the beginning of the hunger games cuz look at her chest. There’s blood on it. That’s from the boy who got stabbed coughing it up on her at the cornucopia. It would also explain why she doesn’t look that dirty.
I was about to say “what happened to the blonde hair” then I realized Josh was muddy in the pic oh well.
Not my favorite choices but I’ll live with it and if the movie isn’t good oh well. Really after the Percy Jackson movie is is very easy to be pessimistic.
I love these photos. I can’t wait for the movie. I agree that his hair needs to be lighter. But the book says sandy blonde or dirty blonde. And they are supposed to be dirty so I think it is fine.
These pics are great! so what if josh doesn’t have bleach blond hair. Suzan Collins said that if josh had purple skin and green hair, she would still cast him… BECAUSE OF HIS ACTING! thats really all that matters.

Josh is amazing! He will make a great Peeta! Sure his hair isn’t ash blond but think about it… Josh would not look good as a bleach blond! He is a great actor and Suzanne Collins said so herself. She said she would cast him if he had wings and he was purple! Josh will do fine. The only thing I’m not happy about is that if this a still not a set photo… Josh should at least have colored contacts. Peeta NEEDS blue eyes!

I have the sinking feeling Peeta’s hair is going to become darker and darker with each movie (same as to what should have been Hermione’s bushy brown hair in Harry Potter which got lighter and tidier instead as the movies progressed).
And hopefully he has blue eyes too, like in the books.
And Katniss’ eyes should be a tad darker. The actress’ green eyes are too light for the character imo.
I was on team Gale when I was reading the books, but ever since they cast Josh as Peeta, and seeing those pictures of him as Peeta, I am now offically on team Peeta.
