Nominate The Hunger Games for The Do Something Awards
VH1 says The Hunger Games could end up getting a nomination in their annual Do Something Awards because of the issues the film tackles, while Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth could also be recognised.
It’s all about rewarding those celebrities that do good in the community and inspire others to do the same. But before we can see The Hunger Games or Josh and Liam even take part in the awards, it’s down to us to vote them in as nominees.
- Josh Hutcherson: Is the youngest recipient of the Vanguard Award at the GLAAD Media Awards for his work with the group Straight But Not Narrow.
- Liam Hemsworth: Served as an ambassador of the Australian Childhood Foundation, a charity that works to put a stop to child abuse.
- The Hunger Games: Tackled issues like severe poverty, starvation, and effects of war through the story of children stuggling to feed their under-fed communities.
You can head HERE to cast your vote until July with the Do Something Awards to be shown on VH1 on August 21.
