OFFICIAL: Stephanie Leigh Schlund is Cashmere
Today’s casting announcement is for our District 1 Victor, Cashmere will be played by Stephanie Leigh Schlund in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Welcome to The Hunger Games family Stephanie! Check out the press release below:
Santa Monica, CA, August 14, 2012- Lionsgate® and the filmmakers of THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE are pleased to announce that Stephanie Leigh Schlund has been cast in the role of Cashmere in the much anticipated film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ worldwide smash hit novel Catching Fire. A former Career tribute from District 1, Cashmere and her brother Gloss are both competing in the Quarter Quell.
Stephanie Leigh Schlund is an Atlanta, Georgia based actress who has appeared in television series including Drop Dead Diva, and films including “The Last Song”. She can next be seen in the upcoming Fox series The Following, premiering this Fall.
