So what do you think of the first teaser poster?

How Excited am I?
REALLY EXCITED,
never thought i’d be happy to see 2012 come, :p
OMG ITS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! SOOO STOKED!
Why don’t we just slap on the hungergames cover on paper and call it a poster.
I like it.
@ loaded Gun beats tributes and peacekeepers:
It’s different.
I really liked how they metallicized the pin so it looked more….pin-ish.
LOLZ!
Anyways, I’m just looking forward to seeing the movie trailer!
@ loaded Gun beats tributes and peacekeepers:
THANK you for saying EXACTLY what I was thinking.
@Nick I feel the same way lol buht it lookzz really gewwd IM SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!:)
It looks good but it annoys me considering they put so much emphasis on the pin without Madge..
How exciting!!!
D omg i really want to see the movie!
I am so exited !!!! I can´t wait for the movie !!! I wish I had a time machine to see the movie NOW !!!
i cant wait to buy it
! and put it on my wallllllll
OH MY GOSH. I LOVE IT.
At least we can’t complain that it’s not representing the book!
it looks O.K. could be beter. still in Hunger Games shock…..
IT IS AWESOME!!!!!! I AGREE WITH SUNNY ABOUT IT BEING MORE PINISH LOOKING!!!!!! THIS IS SO SWEET!
:’(
If they screw this up I will be so sad and I will cry.
283 DAYS!!!!! I am so stoked and most kids in my school can not wait for March 23rd!!!!!!!!!!!
For the Hunger Games movie, May the odds ever be in your favor! * In a Capitol accent*
Stop complaining that Madge is not in the film. First we are not even sure she’s not there because that came from the leaked script. 2nd, it happens to all book to movie adaptations. Things change. The important thing is the PIN is there, it is going to be the revolutions symbol whoever gave it to Katniss. Read LOTR and HP, then watch the movies. They change some things there but the movies came out pretty good. Even nominated for Oscars. Besides, Gary Ross was nominated for an Academy for Best adapted screenplay. So he knows what he is doing plus the author is there to help.
I like it…its mysterious and doesn’t give much away to people who haven’t read the hunger games. I hope they don’t advertise it later on like they do with all those other teenage adaptions, like Tomorrow When the War Began, with all these buffed-up teenage characters standing in a group, looking like ‘yeah we are so cool and invincible’. I think that just puts older viewers off. Can’t wait!
I LOVE it! I cant wait for the movie
@ loaded Gun beats tributes and peacekeepers (and other complainers)
it’s just a teaser, not the poster we we all see when the movie comes out. So it’s normal to be simple and use in some way the graphic from the book cover. (it’s more like the title of Breaking dawn – sorry for the comparison – with just the font and nothing more). So I don’t get why people complain about it.
They will have posters with the actors later, but this is just for promoting the work so far, so people will know about this movie when it comes out.
I want to get it! I would like so put it in my room!
cool
I like it, but it’s to dark, and people wouldn’t really notice it. I always thought they would have a forest in the back ground, then Katniss’s face that’s fading, and some arrows, but in the middle the badge.
Guess what guys? I already have this poster. On my wall. I got it for Christmas. How? This is the same as the book poster, and I’m not going to waste money on buying this one for my wall if it’s the same. I am not pleased with this poster, though I do admit it is different from the book poster. When they come out with a better poster with the character’s faces on it, I will buy it. Until then, I’m just going to wait for another myhungergames post…
yay!!! i love this poster!! looks mysterious
Love it!!
I AM SO EXCITED! and heres why they cant just slap on the book cover and call it a poster… its cause this movie is the bigest thing of the year for 2012! We cant just be amatures and sit around like its nothing we need to take pride in our Obbsession!
It IS an old poster with a date on it! How cheap
Awesome I’m soooo excited!!
But I am sad tht Madge isn’t in it cuz she the one who gives Katniss the pin
I didn’t complain i just said its too non- creative but I do like the mettallic effect the pin has.
I showed it to one of my friends (she hasn’t read the book!!) and she said “It doesn’t give away much but at the same time, it gives away alot. A feeling of mystery and war. Now I totally want to find out what the bird stands for. And what is ‘May the odds be ever in your favor!’ for.” she said. “It makes me want to find out, to watch the movie.” she concluded.
I think that response is nice, and I also think that’s what the Producers meant it to be for.
\\***–Just my 2 cents.–***//
DONT BUY THIS! I ALREADY OWN THIS POSTER, IT JUST DOESNT HAVE 2012 ON IT, AND WANNA KNOW WHY, BECAUSE IT’S THE BOOK! AND I GOT IT ON EBAY FOR 3 DOLLARS!
half of me thinks it’s boring compared to the fan posters we saw.. but half of me thinks the simplicity if quite effective:)
Rikki Twitter: WeasleyLuver : OMFG WEASLEYYYYYS! MY FAVORITTTTEEEE!
SO excited !
by the way, I love this
Who cares if its the same?! If it looks good and is well known why not use it?! just saying. I mean its still the Hunger Games.
I cant wait until the movie comes out! I would sleep outside the movie theater if i have too! I cant wait!
That looks awesome…i can’t wait for the real one to come out with the cast
