Sam Claflin – Forbes 30 Under 30
Sam Claflin has been included in this year’s Forbes list of 30 Under 30 – those people in Hollywood aged under 30 that are making a difference. Forbes said it wanted to come up with a fair mix of stars in front of the camera and behind the scenes. They also wanted to include entertainers we already know, along with a bunch that we’ll be hearing a lot more from in the next year.
Sam makes the list, not just for his previous roles, but because he’s about to become a huge star playing Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire:
Claflin has had small roles in movies like “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and “Snow White and the Huntsman.” But Hollywood is expecting him to really breakout in next year’s “Catching Fire,” the second in “The Hunger Games” series. Claflin will play fan favorite Finnick Odair.

Hmmmm, I don’t question his acting at all, he’s a great actor, but he doesn’t quite LOOK the part of Finnick to me yet. Guess I’ll have to wait to see him on the big screen!
