Teas Inspired by The Hunger Games
It seems the world can’t get enough of The Hunger Games, now you can even drink the Panem-ania! A wonderful tea supplier, Adagio, is distributing a line of teas inspired by characters in The Hunger Games and Catching Fire, and what’s awesome is they were created by a fan!
Cara blended and designed the labels for these teas. And I have to say the teas seem to fit the essence of each character perfectly, plus the artwork is incredible!
Katniss – The Girl On Fire
A fusion of the mint leaf tea enjoyed in District 12 and the Hot Chocolate Katniss discovers on the train to the Capital, mellowed with a touch of cream and a whisp of smoke for The Girl on Fire.
Ingredients: cocomint green, lapsang souchong, cream
Peeta – The Boy With The Bread
“I do the cakes,” he admits to me. “The cakes?” I ask. I’ve been preoccupied with watching the boy from District 2 send a spear through a dummy’s heart from fifteen yards. “What cakes?” “At home. The iced ones, for the bakery,” he says…. “It’s lovely. If only you could frost someone to death,” I say.
Ingredients: vanilla green, almond, chocolate chai
Finnick – The Boy With The Sugar Cubes
‘…if we see something sweet, we better grab it quick.’ Sweet, tropical, and playful with a smooth green edge.
Ingredients: white tropics, thai chai, white monkey
Rue – Here Your Dreams Are Sweet
“Here is the place where I love you.” Warm Vanilla and Honey against bright, crisp Apples.
Ingredients: honeybush vanilla, sour apple, snowbud
Effie – May The Odds Be Ever In Your Flavor
Ever shifting sweet flavors including Chocolate Covered Strawberry, Rose, and Vanilla, all blended together with a backing of sweet cream. A slightly off-balanced blend with good (if misguided) intentions.
Ingredients: valentines, rooibos almond, cream
Cinna – Let’s Find Your Flavor
Deep, earthy, and sweet, with just slightest touch of Capitol Flair.
Ingredients: mocha nut mate, hazelnut, cinnamon
For ordering information, head to Adagio. I know I’ll be getting some!

I thought this was really funny. I’m gonna show it to my friends that read the book.
