The Hunger Games: Catching Fire back filming in Hawaii
While filming for The Hunger Games: Catchinig Fire in Hawaii wrapped up in December, it seems there’s been a few more scenes that needed a bit of additional attention.
First up, Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth went to New Jersey to film a new opening scene, while the cast and crew have headed back to Hawaii to complete a few extra shots. It’s all been confirmed by Jennifer in an article in The Daily Mail:
The actress has been recovering from a nasty flu bug, which was not helped by recent filming on the second Hunger Games movie, Catching Fire. She was shooting outside, in freezing weather, in only a T-shirt.
‘That probably wasn’t the best for my sickness,’ she said, wryly.
Luckily, the remaining nine days of filming, in her role as Katniss Everdeen, will take place on location in Hawaii.
Then she has a few weeks off, before she has to travel to Canada to film X-Men — Days Of Future Past, a time-travelling sci-fi epic featuring a galaxy of superheroes played by, among others, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy and Halle Berry.
