While we know that the cast and crew have been back doing extra filming for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in Hawaii, there’s a new report that they’ve also been seen in recent days hard at work on the Universal Studios backlot in Los Angeles.
According to fellow fansite, Welcome to District 12, work was being carried out on Catching Fire on the backlots sometime in the last two weeks in the “Falls Lake” area. They say it was all happening under heavy lock-down with noone allowed to get anywhere near the site.
what they heard it looked like the set included towers and a fenced-in area, suggesting a district scene.
Either way, it’s exciting to know that they have enough in the can to let us see two and a half minutes of footage when the Catching Fire teaser trailer debuts during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on April 4.
