The Hunger Games DVD Release Date for the UK
Fans in the UK will be able to buy The Hunger Games DVD from September 3.
Lionsgate UK has revealed that the film will be available on 2-disc DVD, 2-disc Blu-ray, TVOD and digital download from that date.
“We are incredibly excited to bring the Hunger Games experience to UK homes this autumn,” said Nicola Pearcey, Managing Director, Home Entertainment and New Media.
“This is far and away the biggest home entertainment launch in Lionsgate’s history and, further to the success of the theatrical box office, our home entertainment launch will involve a highly innovative and integrated digital and packaged media rollout which will be unveiled in the weeks ahead.
“Particularly exciting is the availability of the 15 cert cut of the film on the Blu-ray, which was unseen in UK cinemas.”
UK Fans can pre-order their copies from now.
The Hunger Games DVD and Blu-ray will be available from August 18 in the US and August 17 in Australia.
Lionsgate has also confirmed that the movie will have a world-wide release on November 22, 2013.

exactly how bad is the gory cuts? Anybody know? because i am considering pre-ordering 
The cuts aren’t too bad apparently, just some blood splaters or something? I am so excited now though! Really anticipating watching the whole thing – uncut!

They aren’t very gory at all:I’m a thirteen year old girl and I was fine with it. You should pre order; it’s a great movie!
Will the 12 cert version be available aswell as the 15 cert?
The 15 cert is only for blu-ray right? Cause if it is I’m gong to have to get someone to burn it on to DVD for me. I need to see the un-cut version.
