The Hunger Games takes part in National Literacy Month
As part of National Literacy Month in the US, Lionsgate and Scholastic are joining forces with Scribd and Donors Choose to launch a special Hunger Games Natioinal Literacy Month campaign.
As part of the partnership, they’ve decided to put the first two chapters of The Hunger Games online for free through a Scribd application.
That means you can read the chapters on Facebook, share them through Facebook, Twitter or Scribd.
Lionsgate says that all three companies have also joined with DonorsChoose.org, to create a sweepstakes.
Any fan that reads The Hunger Games in the Scribd social reader application in September will be entered in “Read a Chapter, Win a Library” for a chance to win a classroom library of books for one of the public schools served by DonorsChoose.org.
