i loved the trailer, it broke my heart in the best possible way, so touching, so well done, i love those characters so much, for me was really important that they respected the book and here you have!! they did!!! the casting was perfect, you can fall in love with them, suffer their pain and anguish, make wishes for them, the same feelings that the books caused, me, for all that THANK YOU, for understand what we want as fans, for make a movie everybody coudl love no matter is you have read HG or not, for get the idea of not make some kind of parody, but to tell this unbelievable epic story just the way it was written, for choosing the right actors, for keeping the magic, thanks!

i love Peeta and Katniss. I think in the movie they’re gonna get Prim to give the mockingjay pin to Katniss not Madge. LOVE IT
What bugs me is that apparently madge isnt included………..it seems that prim gave the pin, not madge :L

I was so excited today, just waiting to see this! I love, love, love, love this trailer!! I cannot wait for the movie, I’m practically dying of anticipation! I think, however, that Effie looked too old, and I wanted to see more of Rue. But other than that-EPICNESS!

I loved the back and forth thing that Katniss and Gale had in the beginning of the trailer. It just seemed so natural! Every ounce of doubt I had about them making a /successful/ THG movie is now out the window onto someone else because I sure won’t have it! XD I’m going to the midnight showing. No. Doubt. About. It.

I was so happy watching this now i really can’t wait to see the movie! and I hope they release a second trailer sometime soon cause i cant wait for that either. the movie looks so amazing and the ending with them running into the arena looks so like i imagined.! i love the hunger games so muchh i cant wait to see the rest!!!
I’m pretty excited for the movie too, but it kind of worries me if they lived up to the book. I haven’t been sold yet about the movie, hopefully when i see it i will overflow with happiness and want to watch it a million times

Umm… I am… kinda disappointed…. I didn’t know that Katniss lived on a farm?? And why was Haymitch only there for like a second? I mean, it’s not like she wouldn’t have died without his help or anything… I think they did a good job at casting… but lets see how they act… Man, I hope this won’t be like another twilight. :/

Oh my gosh!! Loving it. The reaping deffinently tugs at your heart strings! I wasn’t very happy when Jennifer Lawrence was chosen to play her but…She is fabulous! Her look, the way she talks, the edge just everything. The only thing I can complain about is Effie, I imagined her as more of a happy, cheerful, overly made-up woman. Not so costumey. But overall, its fantastic! I’m so giddy!!

I knew Jennifer was going to rock this part, and I had a really good feeling about Josh. SO HAPPY. March is so far away.
I thought the trailer was incredible, but I did have a couple of nitpicks with it. The first thing that really threw me off was Effie. I always envisioned Effie as a young, perky, over-the-top character. Almost a classy valley girl. And she looks REALLY old. I know Elizabeth Banks isn’t that old, but they’ve got so much makeup on her that she looks like she’s 50. I never quite knew how to interpret the Capitol accent when reading the books, but I didn’t think it would be this weird hoity-toity British/Canadian accent that Effie has. The last thing that kind of bugged me was the way Snow pronounces Panem. Did anyone ever read it as “Pan-Em”?
Other than that, I think it’s going to be amazing!

When I first found out about the cast and who was going to be Katniss, I doubted she could pull off being Katniss. Having watched the trailer though, I feel a little better about what she can do acting wise and portraying Katniss’ character. I am very excited about Gale since I can definitely see Liam as Gale. He could pull it off. I was a bit iffy about Peeta, but since he is one of my favorite actors, I believe he can pull it off as well.
I really really can’t wait to see the movie and March is coming at a slow pace at the moment. I doubt I will be able to snag midnight tickets so I’ll wait patiently for a few days afterwards which will add to my torment. I keep myself entertained by watching the trailer and reading articles about it.
Also one other thing bothers me that I know shouldn’t because it should be of small importance, but I can’t shake it. My friends call me the “Observation Queen” because I observe all the little things out of the big picture. I remember reading in the book about the clothes everyone wears in the Games:
Cinna has had no say in my outfit, does not even know what iwll be in the package, but he helps me dress in the undergarments, simple tawny pants, light green blouse, sturdy brown belt, and thin, hooded jacket that falls to my thighs.
I just kind of notice that they are wearing black shirts in the Games from what little I can see as well as some other tributes wearing gold-ish/yellow jackets. And also I can’t seem to spot the orange backpack she picks up. I know these things I’ve pointed out may seem annoying to some of you, but I just can’t help it. Sorry! But I really and looking forward to this movie other than those observations so far.

This teaser is epic! JUST it seems that Prim gave Katniss the Pin and its Madge… so thats stupid!!! AND The Girl on Fire is not on Fire!!!! Major PROBLEM!!! Stop at 0:40 and see that she is not burning! They could do special effects!!! I am disappointed if she didnt burn!!! That was the best scence!!! Please let it be fabulous!!!

Oooh! I got chills at the end when Cinna puts his fingers to his lips as if saying to Katniss “Shh, it’s a secret.” About the mockingjay pin. I’m still kind of upset that they don’t have Madge in the movie and that Madge doesn’t give her the pin for a few different reasons, mainly that it just incites the rebellion even more when you break down the passage of the mockingjay pin. But at least, with Cinna shhh’ing Katniss it’s still rebellious in a really original way.
I can’t wait for the movies!! So excited!!
