The Hunger Games Trilogy

With the smash success of The Hunger Games movie, apparently those new to Panem have been flocking to the bookstore to pick up their own copies of The Hunger Games Trilogy.

So far this year Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay have held the top three spots on the USA Today’s Best-Selling Book List. And this week the Boxed Set of the three books has made it to number four, making it so The Hunger Games Trilogy has taken over the top four spots.

Not since Stephenie Meyer (Twilight), who did it 13 times, or J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter), who did it four times, has an author swept the top four spots on USA TODAY’s Best-Selling Books list.

But after last weekend’s movie release of The Hunger Games, which set a box-office record for a non-sequel, Suzanne Collins sweeps the top of the list, as the box set of her trilogy moves up to No. 4.
