The piece of music featured in The Hunger Games teaser trailer
The music for The Hunger Games is set to be a collaboration between Danny Elfman and T Bone Burnett… but as for the piece of music that is featured in the official teaser trailer that was realeased last month, it seems that was composed by Michael David Nielsen.
His music is featured regularly on the big screen including some of the biggest movie trailers, such as Avatar, Clash of the Titans, Twilight: New Moon and Nightmare on Elmstreet. The track that was used for The Hunger Games teaser is Mercury – Full Tilt – Convergence.

I think it’s going to be great! I think it’s a great choice of music. But the movie would have to be good… otherwise the choice of music would be cheesy. Real cheesy. Well… let’s hope not! BTW I think it’s going to be great because…
1. Great cast
2. Great choice of music
3. Great behind the scenes stuff
4. Too many fans on their hands to let them down.
5. Suzanne Collins is on set adjusting things and tipping the bar to AWESOMENESS!
So don’t worry… be happy! LOL.
