Honestly, I’m kind of glad. I mean, as much as I wanted it and would have bought it, etc, it should be done right. Like Harry Potter and the chocolate! I mean, I don’t know what goes into making nail polish or where it’s done, but I’d want to make sure it was all as healthy and proper as possible.

That’s good — the colors were very flashy, even the darker ones. And one thing The Hunger Games isn’t is “flashy and sparkly”.

Even during its “flashy” moments, the parade; the interview, there’s this darkness present. The idea of “We’re being dressed up and paraded around to only die brutally” still remains which doesn’t make it light. The romance isn’t even light, considering Katniss and Peeta are like the Capitol’s poster children for romance, chained together.

The colors were pretty in their own terms, don’t get me wrong. But the overall tone of them wouldn’t fit The Hunger Games.

    Same ^^
I would have bought it and such but it just doesn’t really go with the theme and mood the book tries to send out. I was pretty stoked when I heard but it just doesnt go with it….. Like if they did nail polish they should make the pre stick on stuff in Flames. Like her nails in the book. But maybe try something else?
