Lover her! It’d be pretty cool if she gets the part.
When reading the book, I thought of a young verson of Lori Petty. Then someone came out with one of these on Diane Aragon and now, as I re-read CF and MKJ, I can only see her in the role. Won’t be seeing Emma Stone in my version.
I think Emma Stone or Diane Aragon would make the perfect Johanna!
I think she looks good for the part!
Not my first pick , but she looks johanna material.
pretty good. she looks the part in my opinion.
She should go 4 it
It kinda seems like she doesn’t want the part…just me?
Not JUST You! She is NOT interested in doing any nude scenes, she made that clear. Also get the feeling she doesn’t want to play ‘mean’, but grows on you. The bravado is what makes us end up caring about Johanna in the book. We realize it is a cover-up for all of her pain. Emma may recognize that would be a difficult thing to pull off in a movie…and still have people care about you, root for you, in the end. She may also be thinking about the emaciated Johanna. May already have some eating issues. Were she to lose weight for that scene in MKB, it may trigger something.
Emma Stone with eating issues? You think so?
No Idea! Purely speculation on my part. But she seems awfully uncomfortable about the whole discussion of her being Johanna Mason. She admits she is a big fan of the books and then…has a high energy response/objection saying that Johanna is naked most of the time…and even looks away rather than discuss the topic.
I pictured Johanna as dumb and a brown hair
didnt think of her but she definetaly looks the part
I highly doubt the “naked Johanna” scenes will be included in the movie especially with the very likely PG-13 rating and the whole “we don’t want to alienate younger readers” thing. They could still do a scene like that where the nudity is off-screen though, but the actress can choose to be covered-up during it. Johanna being naked all the time probably isn’t that great of an excuse.
yes she is cool for johanna
