The Hunger Games movie - nightlock berries scene
ET has been running a series of behind the scenes featurettes from The Hunger Games. Here’s a little bit more -this one is called The Hunks of The Hunger Games.

While that’s all well and good, I’d imagine most fans are more interested in seeing the little snippet of Katniss slapping away the nightlock berries that Peeta is just about to eat.

Here is the video thanks to our mysterious friend Code65536

  1. TeamPeeta says:

Looks great! If I am correct, Does Katniss curse? *** you? :/ Hopefully they will keep it clean for the young teens. Not sure though, Maybe I miss heard?! Still love it though. You can hear the panic in Katniss (Jennifer L.) voice.

  2. Peeta's wife says:

I love this so much <3 and yes she does say d a m n you but it adds emotion to the scene i kinda like it

  3. Love of Peeta says:

No more clips or behind the scenes moments for me. I am only going to watch commercials from now on.

  4. Charlotte says:

So what if she says damn you? You Americans are over sensitive.

  5. Ada says:

    “the problem is-”
what is the problem? WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!? T_T okay, maybe ‘m overreacting….

  6. Mark says:

Charlotte, how do you know ‘TeamPeeta” is American?? That’s pretty racist if you just assumed that! Jeez pretty sad….

Great behind the scenes clip anyway!! I Wonder why they are showing spoilers on ET though!? Some people didn’t read the book.

  7. RebeccaB. says:

I highly doubt they’re going to use harsh language in the movie. Damn you isn’t “bad” compared to the C, F, or S word. And if they can’t take that, then they really shouldn’t be watching the movie. Even PG13 movies let some things “slip”, you know. But I loved Jennifer’s acting in this. Josh looked so sorry and sweet.

  8. Sevilen Robberts says:

    @Mark
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
It’s not racist. Isn’t ET a purely American show? There are several clues here that could lead to TeamPeeta being American, because of the website in question. Either way, calling Charlotte racist is wrong. Raciest would be someone saying another race is better than another. (Example, if I (A American.) went up to an Indian person and said they should leave because they aren’t clean or something, is racist. Frankly I have to agree with her. People are over reacting to it. You’re going to a movie where an eleven year old girl is fighting for her life then get’s speared. I think you should be able to handle the language.

  9. PEETAISMENTAL says:

I loved it, especially because Katniss was being a bitch to Peeta. Ohhhhh. It made my sideburns tingle!

  10. Love of Peeta says:

Charlotte and Mark both need to calm it down. Charlotte don’t use the phrase you Americans or you anything for that matter because not all of us are sensitive to curse words but you should be considerate to those that don’t like them. And Mark don’t randomly call people racist that’s just rude. Neither of you may read this but it made me feel better typing it out so….yeah.

  11. Mark says:

Sevilen Robberts AND Love of Peeta, first off you shouldn’t be telling people over the internet what to do when chances are they are probably older than you (also rude). I was going for prejudice or discrimination more than racist. Also I consider it much more rude to call out a huge group of people and call them all sensitive based on where they live or what they are which is showing hate. There is no reason to be that way to anybody different from you and it is rude. By the way I’m not bothered by her saying “damn you” what is wrong with that (never said any of you said that I was, just wanted to point that out)? He scared her to death with the berries, she hugged him and lightened the mood, and since when is “damn” a “bad” word?

  12. TeamPeeta says:

Does not bother me, It makes it more intense. :) And I was asking, (concern) cause I have a 12 year old neighbor who is wanting to see it. Oh, And I am American, Live in Florida. :) . Personally, I like it. It makes it more dramatic. The movie also has to appeal to the adults too. (Btw, I’m in my young 20′s)

  13. TeamPeeta says:

Oh, and I agree 100% with RebeccaB! Very true!

  14. SomeGuy says:

Okay class, it seems we’ve all failed the vocabulary test today.

“American” is not in any way shape or form a race. The USA is a country that prides itself on being a multicultural, multiracial melting pot of several different cultures. To call any slur against Americans racist is completely illogical because African Americans, Native Americans, Anglo Saxon Americans (White), and countless other Americans do not fall under the same race.

The word you are all looking for is “NATIONALIST”, in other words, a form of discrimination based on the nation in which a person resides.

You may now resume your pointless debate.

    • Katniss says:

Very sensible comment on tht website, they all just dont get it. btw thx for the info, I didnt no eother so i suppose i failed the test 2 but ah well

  15. Katniss says:

SomeGuy, you are the most sensible person who has left a comment on this website, Congratualtions

  16. Random Person that likes Doritos says:

Wow, how did we start talking about this? We’re commenting on “The Hunger Games” for crying out loud, not discussing and proclaiming corrupt things about race!

  17. I like dorritos too :p says:

Lol, if you don’t like the language don’t watch it. It really doesn’t have anything to do with racism or Nationalities. I’ve seen the movie… they swear ONE time. -__- Daang.
