There is a thing called makeup to make them appear more youthful like the entire twilight cast who were portraying high school students. It’s not about the age its about the look. If there is a thirty year old male that they like for finnick i’m sure they can make him look youthful.
My Pick for Finnick is….Nick Roux! I hope he gets to Audition! If he is meant to have the role he will, if not then whoever is right for it will get it! I can’t wait to find out!

As long as the actor for Finnick isn’t past 30, I think it would be ok. Because Jennifer and Josh are obviously older than their character’s ages, it’d make sense to cast an actor who is older than them both.
And no to the Rob Pattinson… he’s already been in two franchises (even if his role in HP was very small).
Um, Garrett is older than both Jen and Josh. I agree about Rob Pattinson. I’m glad he won’t be chosen. Garrett is also older than Finnick by approx. four years. Trevor Donovan would be my second choice.
Ok I would just like to point out that what the actor looks like is NOT the most important thing!!!!! It’s how well he can play the character! I mean, look at everyone cast in the first hunger games movie. The initial casting announcements were kinda bizarre because we didn’t see them in costume or in character. But it turned out ok in the end because the casters knew what they were doing!
