Instyle Magazine is asking us who we thing had the Best Movie Hairstyles of 2012 with two of The Hunger Games characters nominationed.
The transformation of Elizabeth Banks into Effie Trinket is included in ”Most Shocking Hair Makeover” category, while Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen is up for “Best Hero Hair”
Elizabeth is up up against Anne Hathaway in Les Miserables, Javier Bardem in Skyfall and Halle Berry in Cloud Atlas, while Jennifer is up against Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson in The Avengers, and Anne Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises.

The “Katniss braid” blew up after the movie premiere! I think she definitely deserves to win. There are internet tutorials for it, and at my school, “Katniss braid” became synonymous with “side braid.”
